Jude Walker

Educator/Co-Founder
Jude Walker is a dedicated educator, poet, and artist. Beginning their teaching career in 2013 leading writing workshops for children 2nd-5th grade, Jude has been devoted to education and the arts for over a decade. Whether through workshops, full-time classrooms, or one-on-one sessions, Jude has enjoyed the dynamic experience of working with all ages, from preschool to 12th grade. During their most recent work as a full-time English teacher, 2021-2023, Jude fortified their values of fostering student autonomy and curriculum building driven by student interest. With a BFA from Webster Conservatory, Jude brings a rich knowledge of creative thinking and engaging programming to every session.  Beginning Curiosity NYC has been a beautiful combination of all Jude’s passions, and they are beyond excited for the years to come.

Aritzel Ventura

Educator/Co-Founder
Ari is an educator whose work centers around inspiring a love for learning. As a teacher, Ari found particular success in supporting students with learning differences, in which they had a track record of developing their students' executive functioning. Ari co-founded Curiosity NYC to continue their work outside the limitations of the classroom. Ari graduated from the University of North Texas with a BS in applied anthropology and a BS in history. They found their passion for teaching through community service in AmeriCorps, where they supported middle school students in Brooklyn. Ari later continued teaching both middle and high school History, ELA, and Spanish, through which they bolstered their values for inclusive learning environments and student autonomy.

Jordan Fagan

Jordan Fagan is an equity and accessibility focused educator and consultant. She earned her M.A. in Writing, Gender, and Culture from King's College London. She later earned her M.S.Ed in Educating Students with Disabilities from Brooklyn College. She’s currently a doctoral candidate. Jordan is a "people person" with a focus on building authentic relationships and creating opportunities for equitable access.
