About Us

Curiosity NYC is a teacher-owned tutoring cooperative and a community of learners. We specialize in executive functioning support and offer subject-specific tutoring. Our instructors have in-depth experience working with students that have a wide range of learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and etc. Whether your student is searching for extra help to regain their stride, or confidently looking to take their work to the next level, our team is here to support. 

Our co-op was founded and run by teachers that believe in reinvesting in our work and community, ensuring a fair and collaborative approach. We understand that it takes a village, so a village is involved, which is why our instructors collaborate with our team and other professionals in your student’s community. In a city where students have many school options, followed by many transitions, our co-op acts as a stable and supportive anchor. 

To inspire learning and build a lasting community, we will offer group events, trips, and summer programming. As we embark on this journey, our long-term goal is to make our services more accessible. While our co-op is in its early stages, we aspire to offer scholarships to ensure that every student, regardless of financial constraints, can benefit from our comprehensive support.
