How it Works?

Online Tutoring from any US state. In-person tutoring is available through home-visits or at a public library in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Learn more about each step of the process below:

1. Assessment & Intake

Instructors review in-take survey & information gathered from parents to begin crafting an individualized program, followed by a comprehensive assessment to collect information about the student's learning style, strengths, and areas for growth.

2. Matching Process

Carefully match students with educators best suited to their individual needs, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience. Matching is also influenced by student’s scheduling preferences, as well as their availability for in-person or remote.

3. Individualized Support

Instructors work as a team to regularly adapt the student’s tailored programming, which ensures specific learning challenges addressed by building on existing strengths. An addition to the assessment, programming is informed information shared by parents, the school, and other professionals in the student’s life.

Instructors share weekly progress updates, providing insights into your child's academic journey, allowing continuous collaboration and adjustment.

5. Team Collaboration & Synthesis

Curiosity NYC frequently adapts student programming to address specific challenges and build on existing strengths, incorporating grades and other reports into our evaluation process. To ensure student programming is regularly evaluated and adapted, data and academic plan is initially shared with parents. Then, their student is assessed again to track growth and evaluate/adapt programming.
